RESORT Tbilisi Balneology Resort founded in 1938 is located in the historical district of Tbilisi, the south-eastern part of the city. In the west and south-west it is bounded by the National Botanical Garden, while from the other sides it borders upon the River Mtkvari and Teleti gorge.

Naturally warm sulfurous mineral waters with a temperature ranging from +37o C and up are characterized by low salination. The water is used for curing diseases of a locomotive system, a nervous system, a cardio-vascular system, various skin diseases, gastrointestinal diseases, etc. Besides the mineral water procedures Tbilisi Balneology Resort also offers curative mud baths, medical massage and exercises, etc. Here you can find a consultation and diagnostic departments equipped with present-day technologies, a modern laboratory. Patients receive treatment on an outpatient basis.

Works to restore the resort started in 1999. On the base of the resort, the medical tourism department and the center of Tbilisi State Medical University studying resorts are operating. Recently opened children rehabilitation autism center offers a possibility to consult with leading professional of the field from Italy.
